News: Fallout 76 will slap a wanted level on griefers

Fallout 76 is an online game, which means it's open to griefers. That is, people who rock up to servers just to cause problems for everyone else trying to have fun.

Fortunately, developer Bethesda has revealed that it's got something up its sleeves in regards to dealing with these troublesome folk.

That's according to Danny O'Dwyer during NoClip's Fallout 76 making of documentary, who says that troublemakers will be slapped with a wanted level. Presumably, this means they can be hunted down and bumped off for a reward, although we don't know this for certain yet.

In an interview with GameSpot however, Bethesda mouthpiece Pete Hines said that while the game will allow for players to team up against others in raider groups, measures are put in place to ensure you can't be constantly harassed by the same person.

'[We allow] for that sort of tension but with systems in place that keep it from being abusive,' said Hines. 'So you can't be harassed by somebody who just keeps chasing you around the world and keeps killing you over and over again; the game literally doesn't allow that to happen to you.'

Fallout 76 is due out for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 14.
